Elf Olympics fundraiser for Youth Cancer Trust
Youth Cancer Trust provides therapeutic wellbeing holidays and secure online support for teenagers and young adults (age 14- 30) living with and beyond cancer.
Fundraising for Youth Cancer Trust
The Youth Cancer Trust team have been joined by friends, family, supporters and holiday guests to take part in a festive fundraiser for the charity.
With Christmas approaching, Santa’s elves want to make sure they are in shape for the big day. But Santa only chooses the most skilled and dedicated elf to ride on his sleigh with him and help distribute the gifts in time for Christmas morning.
How will he know who to choose?
The annual Elf Olympics are a carefully planned event to test agility, endurance and speed. Elves will battle it out to win the chance to help Santa on Christmas Eve.

With a small donation of £2 via our Just Giving page you can pick which elf you think will win. Every entry will be entered into our prize draw to win a £150 Amazon Voucher.
The winning elf will be revealed on Friday 20th December in a video on our social media and website.

TikTok Social Media
Youth Cancer Trust Charity aimed to enhance their social media presence to stay relevant with trends, grow their audience, and increase recognition as a charity. Since the charity primarily serves youth, platforms like TikTok are ideal for engaging with a younger demographic. As a social media volunteer, I identified the need for a strategic plan emphasising visual storytelling and short-form videos to highlight the charity's mission and events. Significantly, their TikTok account lacked content, including coverage of upcoming events. To address this, I created an 'Elf Olympics' video to promote their Christmas fundraiser on TikTok.
Just Giving Youth Cancer Trust Charity Fundraiser
An interesting insight from TikTok Studio emerged from our recent video, 'Elf Olympics Christmas Fundraiser.' The data revealed that 97% of viewers were new, while 3% were returning viewers. This analysis, derived from TikTok Studio's post-performance metrics, highlights the video's ability to attract fresh engagement.
Since creating the TikTok video, the charity exceeded expectations by raising 105% of the £1,000 target for the JustGiving fundraiser. This demonstrates the impact of engaging and creative content in driving successful fundraising efforts.
